The Center for Furniture Craftsmanship’s Messler Gallery has put out a Call for Entries on behalf of its Maine Wood 2010 juried show. This will be an exhibition of contemporary work by Maine craftspeople in furniture making, woodcarving, sculpture, and (of course) turning. Mark Irving just handed me a CD with tons of photographs on it going back about three years; and a two-inch tall stack of old newsletters dating way back to 1997. It’ll take time but I’ll do my best to get it all posted. I’ll have to scan the newsletters to create a pdf, and as a result, they won’t be in color.
