November 2005 - Kim Dailey

Kim Dailey from Dixfield put on a highly informative demonstration on pen turning for this month’s meeting. Kim’s just one of many our of members who happen who hold dual citizenship. He not only belongs to our chapter  - The Maine Woodturners  - but he’s also the founder and president of the Western Mountain Woodturners chapter over in Dixfield.

Kim’s demo was part of the new Presidential Exchange Program. Last week our pres - Mark Irving - was in Dixfield putting on a rolling pin demo. Of course, I’m guessing that Mark was really demo’ing just to check out their new Powermatic 3520.

And to see more of Kim’s work, be sure to check out his website.

On behalf of both chapters - “Thanks guys!”
