May 10, 2008 -- The Tee Shirts are done and look wicked cool. Click here for the back story to these original shirts. Thanks go out to member Dale Woerter for an excellent job of printing them.
They’re now available!
We have four colors: Stone Blue, Cardinal Heather, Honey, and Sport Gray. Each is available in sizes ranging from small and all the way up to triple extra large. The shirts themselves are from the Gildan Company and qualitatively comparable to the familiar Hanes Beefy Tees. Since this venture takes us down an uncertain path (how many of each of the possible variants to order) it was decided to start small.
The current price for all shirts regardless of size is just $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers. This price includes Maine’s 5% sales tax, but does not include shipping. When shipping becomes the best way for you to acquire your shirt, the ordering process will automatically add a five dollar shipping and handling fee which covers shipping via USPS Priority Mail.
You can order your shirt in one of two ways. One is reasonably quick, and the other is not. The choice is yours, so choose wisely. The club’s couturier will attempt to maintain a decent inventory of all sizes and colors, but the availability can and will fluctuate from time to time.
Perhaps the easiest way to acquire your shirt will be to click here and send an email to the warehouse manager of our Benton Falls facility who will happily check inventory, pull your selection, and reserve it in your name until your payment is received. He’ll also advise how to make that payment and then await your follow through.
Your alternative is to wait until I develop a shopping cart with a PayPal button.
If your selection is not immediately available, you’ll be so advised. He can arrange for it to be added to the next order placed with Dale with a reservation assigned to it in your name.
Please also note - tee shirts will neither be available for inspection nor for sale during chapter meetings. However, if so requested our couturier will bring a previously purchased shirt to the meeting thereby avoiding the need for you to pay the postage and handling charge.
